We collect information you provide directly, including account details, workspace content, notes, todos, prompts, generated drafts, uploaded files, support messages, billing details, and any data you choose to connect from third-party services.

We also collect technical and usage information such as device and browser details, approximate location derived from IP address, log data, session activity, referral information, and analytics events that help us understand product usage and improve the service.

If you connect third-party services, we may process data made available through those integrations to provide requested features. Depending on your configuration, this can include data from services such as GitHub, Notion, Vercel, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X, Feedbackly, and OneMetric.

Connected account tokens and similar credentials may be stored in encrypted form so ShipNote can maintain the integration on your behalf. You control which integrations you connect and may revoke access through the relevant provider or your ShipNote account settings where available.

ShipNote may use third-party AI and media providers to generate or transform content based on prompts, notes, and other workspace inputs you submit. We use that information to provide the requested generation feature, improve reliability, and detect abuse.

Generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to output created for other users. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing, sending, or relying on it.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate ShipNote, including providers for authentication, hosting, database infrastructure, analytics, payments, email delivery, and AI generation.

We may also share information when you direct us to do so through integrations, when required by law, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet compliance obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, your account status, and the integrations you use.

ShipNote is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
